Tessa Langeveld (1996) is a multidisciplinary artist based in the Netherlands.
Langeveld’s work explores the spatial properties of the moving image, in which the presence of the observer plays an important role. The intangible nature of video is in constant dialogue with the tangible character of the physical space, with the observer and their senses as essential bearers. Langeveld plays with a subtle interspace between the familiar and the uncanny, deriving influence from themes such as phenomenology and horror, but also dreams and visions from her childhood.
